I wasnt sure what to do with this image initially because I couldnt decide on wether to put type in the image or just have a characters head. I also wanted to follow suit with simplicity keeping it similar to the other two posters produced so I was messing around with basic shapes when I decided to spell the word plum out of these shapes, whilst also making two character heads out of the same shapes. I think this poster is my favourite.
Fun times! again the poster is A3 portrait with black and pink on stock, with a gloss overprint over the black outlines (waste not want not) The screens caoting started to deteriorate mid print run on this print, which is probably because I layed the coating on too thin, but non the less I think the poster has turned out rather nice.
The photograph was creating using the misses, her kid sister and the kid sisters bloke. (Jess, Lucy and Callum) I paper crafted the masks and stuck them to wooden spoons. Lucy and callum are holding these whilst jess holds up the pink circles that were cut out of card. Really fun image methinks. With the crafted images I wanted to have fun and not get too furstrated with comparing them exactly to the posters. I think I have achieved some good result and Im definately happy.
